Summary

Fresh Fest was the first national hip-hop arena tour, produced by promoters Ricky Walker and Charles Stettler with sponsorship from the Swatch Watch brand. It grossed roughly $3.5 million across 27 dates and opened the door for the multi-act, multi-region rap touring template that defined the second half of the 1980s. Breakdancing crews Magnificent Force and the Dynamic Breakers were part of the production.
