Marc Ecko (born Marc Milecofsky) founded Ecko Unltd in 1993 in Lakewood, New Jersey, building a graffiti-and-skate-inflected streetwear line that became one of the most visible hip-hop adjacent apparel brands of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Ecko's rhino logo and oversized graphic tees were ubiquitous in MTV-era music videos. Ecko also founded Complex Magazine in 2002.
